Every spring, undergraduate and graduate students have the opportunity to present their research during “Student Research Week” at Texas A&M University. Students choose to either deliver an oral presentation or a poster. Faculty and graduate student judges evaluate presentations and identify first and second place winners for each disciplinary division.
This year, numerous undergraduate students from our department presented their research and won awards! Congratulations to the following winners!
Dr. Soshana Eitan’s lab members, Valentina Foinquinos, Russell Ngo, and Roberto Maydon, won first place for their poster in the medical sciences division.
Morgan Peace, who works in Dr. Josh Hick’s lab, won first place her oral presentation in the social sciences division.
Jaehong Hwang and Jenny Kim, who work in Dr. Stephanie Payne’s lab, tied for first place for their poster in the social science and human development division.
