The Department of Global Languages and Cultures brings together faculty with research and teaching expertise in linguistic, cultural, literary, language and media studies. The department is dedicated to fostering cultural understanding and global engagement through the discovery, dissemination and translation of knowledge. Global Languages and Cultures offer BA degrees in Global Studies, Modern Languages (French, German, Russian), Spanish, and Classics.

With its new BA degree in Global Studies, the Department of Global Languages & Cultures provides students with the tools and skills to tackle global challenges at home and abroad.
