Family ties to Texas A&M:

All three of my siblings went to Texas A&M, with me being the last. Both my parents also attended A&M. We are a very "gig'em" family!

I chose to attend Texas A&M because…

It runs in the family! I also wanted to be closer to my parents, who now live even closer in Iola, TX.

My favorite things to do on campus are…

Simply walking around and looking at the buildings and landscape is enough for me. The coffee shops on campus are also great for studying and are super helpful with motivating me to get my work done.

When I have free time, I like…

To spend time with family and my fiancé, read books, play xbox, and color!

The craziest thing I’ve done is…

Adopt three cats and one dog while still in college. Worth it though!

My favorite place to study is…

At home with my pets (free coffee) or a coffee shop on campus.

My favorite ECON professor is…

Dr. Strickland! She inspires me in so many ways.

My favorite part of being an Economics student is…

Seeing and understanding how decisions have a drastic impact on the economy.

If I could share an afternoon with anyone, I would love to share it with…

My late friend whom I love and miss.

If I knew I could not fail, I would…

Open my own coffee shop. I may still very well do this!

If money was not a consideration, I would love to…

Travel the world, starting with Tokyo, Japan.

What is your passion and how are you committed to pursuing it?

My passion is to obtain financial security and to live my life freely. I am committed to pushing and surprising myself through my achievements so that I may reach these goals and more.

After graduation, I plan to…

Obtain a secure, full-time job that I enjoy and never take a final exam again!

The one Texas A&M experience I will always remember is…

Going to an Economics Career Night my sophomore year for a class and coming out of it with an internship that led to my current part-time, remote job at a CPA firm! If it weren't for Kurt Felpel, I would've chickened out on the opportunity of meeting them.

University highlights, awards, scholarships:

Deans List all semesters

Current employment:

I currently work in the ECON 202 tutoring lab! I have made a lot of great friends there and teaching people econ has been a super great way to reinforce simple concepts!

Family ties to Texas A&M:

None! I am a first generation Aggie!

I chose to attend Texas A&M because…

I loved the culture of campus, how everyone you meet seems genuine and kind, and the opportunity of doing the 3+2 program I am currently apart of. I always knew that I wanted a higher degree and Texas A&M has made it possible for me to streamline it.

My favorite things to do on campus are…

Walk around during a beautiful day and listen to a podcast, book, or some music.

When I have free time, I like…

To work out, hang out with my friends, read, crochet, and learn about coffee!

The craziest thing I’ve done is…

Stay in hostels for 2 weeks straight on my backpacking trip! I'd recommend a real hotel thrown in there every once in a while.

My favorite place to study is…

Polite Coffee Roasters in Bryan! Best coffee and vibes in town.

My favorite ECON professor is…

I really haven't had a negative experience, but I really enjoyed Mirco Theory with Dr. Guo and I have always had great experiences in Dr. Strickland's classes.

My favorite part of being an Economics student is…

Seeing all of the different ways that economics can be applied to everyday life.

If I could share an afternoon with anyone, I would love to share it with…

Sarah J. Mass or Hanya Yanagihara. Very different picks, but two of my favorite authors.

If I knew I could not fail, I would…

Run a marathon!

If money was not a consideration, I would love to…

Take a year to travel and go everywhere and anywhere!

What is your passion and how are you committed to pursuing it?

I love traveling and learning different cultures and experiences. I want to make sure I have the broadest lens when it comes to a "world view" as possible. I am committed to pursuing this by making sure I am informed about world happenings and always saying yes to exploring new places!

After graduation, I plan to…

Travel first! Still deciding what the plan is whether it be a national park road trip or an abroad adventure. Then I will start work in August at American Airline's headquarters in Dallas, TX working in the Revenue Management Department. While I am going to miss Texas A&M, I am excited to see where these next few years take me!

The one Texas A&M experience I will always remember is…

My first ever football game. While I am not the biggest sports fan, I am usually down for Aggie football. I remember trudging all the way up to the nosebleeds of Kyle (where most freshmen are) and thinking I was such a grown up. It was the beginning of such a great college career!
