buying a very expensive ticket to watch Manchester United play in the FA Cup final vs Manchester City 3 hours before the match started to cross off an experience off my bucket list.

at the desk of my room because I really enjoy the set up I have in there. I feel like I am able to focus and really dive into my work at home. On campus it would have to be the Architecture building.

Dr. Strickland because I enjoyed her teaching style in her undergrad and graduate microeconomic theory classes. She also has been very supportive and helpful throughout the Economic Research program where she has given me the confidence to conduct my own independent research.

having my mom put the aggie ring on my finger. Having my mom, who also graduated from A&M, place the ring on my finger only made one of the best Aggie traditions feel even more special.

Travel first! Still deciding what the plan is whether it be a national park road trip or an abroad adventure. Then I will start work in August at American Airline's headquarters in Dallas, TX working in the Revenue Management Department. While I am going to miss Texas A&M, I am excited to see where these next few years take me!

I chose to attend Texas A&M because I could receive an excellent education without going into debt. The opportunities afforded by such a large state university, with its emphasis on research and collaborations with the Bush School, which allow me to work with both Economics and International Affairs, were very persuasive.

My favorite thing to do on campus is to lie on the grass, either in the backyard of All Faiths Chapel or at the Leach Teaching Gardens.

When I have free time, I like…

What free time? As nerdy as it sounds, I enjoy reading books and writing little articles. I also like swimming, especially in the Olympic-sized pool at the Student Rec. However, I do have an unhealthy addiction to video games, so gaming with my friends is often a go-to.

I would love to start an Economic Freedom group. We would be a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about the importance and benefits of Economic Freedom and advocating for it in various countries. I am very passionate about women’s health and encouraging a supportive community in the fitness realm. During my time at A&M I was in CHAARG which was a women’s fitness organization. This community was so welcoming and supportive when it came to physical, mental, and emotional health. I hope to continue finding a community like this outside of college where I can help uplift women through working out and healthy conversations.

I even loved it so much that I convinced my sister to come to A&M too and she is loving her freshman year!

Attend any Aggie sporting event, get ice cream in Aggie Park, and walk around The Gardens looking at all of the plants and flowers.

When I have free time, I like…

Watching movies, reading books, and exploring downtown Bryan (especially on First Friday).

The craziest thing I’ve done is…

Packed all of my bags and moved to New York City for an internship with Morgan Stanley. When I accepted the offer, I had never traveled outside of Texas and Florida! I’m so glad I made the decision to relocate all by myself because it allowed me to grow so much as a person and explore such an amazing city!

My favorite place to study is…

The MSC by the Flag Room, 4th floor of Evans Library, or the study rooms at my apartment complex. When the weather is nice, I also like to study outside at the MSC or POV.

My favorite ECON professor is…

Professor Sam Stripling! His Sports Econ class was one of the most interesting classes I have taken. Even with the minimal sports knowledge I had, the class taught me so much about an industry I had never fully understood. Definitely one of my favorite classes I have ever taken!

My favorite part of being an Economics student is…

The community! I love being able to see familiar faces in all of my classes. It’s nice knowing that someone will always be there to help you if you ever need it. It also makes it easier to work on group projects and study for exams together!

Currently, I am a member of Women in Economics (WIE), and serve as a student representative for the department of Economics in the College of ArtSci’s Graduate Student Working Group.

My faith plays a large role in my passion in life. Jesus has done so much for me & walked with me through every phase of my life. I owe it all to Him, and my passion is to live by God & for God. If nothing else but that, my life will be more fruitful than I could have imaged!
