Family ties to Texas A&M:

My Mom Graduated from Texas A&M in 1996 and got her Business Degree from Mays Business School.

I chose to attend Texas A&M because…

The vast number of opportunities for students to get involved academically, professionally, and socially. It is a University that I knew would help me grow into the person I need to be in order to be successful post grad, but also a place to make countless memories due to everything A&M has to offer.

My favorite things to do on campus are…

Workout at the Rec Center or sit outside at Aggie park when the weather is nice.

When I have free time, I like…

To golf with my friends because i enjoy being outside and I enjoy the challenging nature of the sport.

The craziest thing I’ve done is…

buying a very expensive ticket to watch Manchester United play in the FA Cup final vs Manchester City 3 hours before the match started to cross off an experience off my bucket list.

My favorite place to study is…

at the desk of my room because I really enjoy the set up I have in there. I feel like I am able to focus and really dive into my work at home. On campus it would have to be the Architecture building.

My favorite ECON professor is…

Dr. Strickland because I enjoyed her teaching style in her undergrad and graduate microeconomic theory classes. She also has been very supportive and helpful throughout the Economic Research program where she has given me the confidence to conduct my own independent research.

My favorite part of being an Economics student is…

The amazing faculty that has supported me throughout my time within the department. From my advisors to my professors, they have always pushed me to be the best student I can be and have helped prepare me for my future professional endeavors.

If I could share an afternoon with anyone, I would love to share it with…

Cristiano Ronaldo because he was a a role model growing up that actively showed me how hard work translates to success in life whether it was through sports, school, and maintaining relationships with those close with me.

If I knew I could not fail, I would…

become a professional soccer player because I could live my childhood dreams of playing a sport that I enjoyed so much growing up.

If money was not a consideration, I would love to…

Travel the world and visit every continent, so I could experience lots of different cultures and enjoy what different countries have to offer.

What is your passion and how are you committed to pursuing it?

My passion is to actively make the most of the opportunities that lead to personal growth and knowledge. I am committed to doing this by taking every opportunity given to me, even if it is something new or challenging like taking leadership positions in the Student Council of Arts and Sciences or being apart of the Economic Research Program prior to conducting any independent economic research.

After graduation, I plan to…

Work as a transfer pricing consultant or as a general business consultant either in Houston Texas or in Atlanta Georgia.

The one Texas A&M experience I will always remember is…

having my mom put the aggie ring on my finger. Having my mom, who also graduated from A&M, place the ring on my finger only made one of the best Aggie traditions feel even more special.
