Funding Opportunities from the College of Arts & Sciences

The College of Arts & Sciences offers funding opportunities through Faculty Travel Grants, the Strategic Transformative Research Program (STRP), and Promoting ArtSci Student Success (PASS). More information can be found on the college intranet. Centers, Institutes, and Initiatives within the college may also provide funding opportunities.

Funding Opportunities from the University

The Texas A&M Division of Research offers internal funding opportunities to help faculty advance their research portfolio across all disciplines. Funding opportunities include the Arts and Humanities Fellows program, Presidential Transformational Teaching Grants, the Research Development Fund (RDF), and the Targeted Proposal Teams (TPT) grants. External Funding Opportunities

Texas A&M faculty are eligible for external research funding from diverse sources, including state and federal governmental agencies, non-profit organizations, and corporations. The Texas A&M Division of Research manages the university’s limited submission process and provides Research Development Services including specific support for faculty applying to the NSF CAREER program.  In complement, the Texas A&M University System Office of Research supports proposal development, including center initiatives. The College of Arts & Sciences Research Development Office (RDO) works with faculty within the college to identify suitable funding opportunities and develop winning proposals.

Award Opportunities

The College of Arts & Sciences intranet has information about College Staff and Faculty Award programs as well as the Association of Former Students College-Level Teaching Awards. University level awards and recognitions can be found on the Faculty Affairs website. The College of Arts & Sciences Research Development Office (RDO) can work with faculty to identify suitable external award opportunities to pursue.
