Graduate awards recognize the exceptional contributions of our students in both research and teaching. Additional awards are available to support student travel to scientific meetings for presenting their work. The sections below provide information on how to apply for or nominate someone for these departmental awards.
The department recognizes students who receive departmental awards, as well as those honored with international, national, university, or college-level accolades. If you receive an award outside of the department, please submit the details using the Publicity Request Form. This helps us feature your achievement on the department’s social media channels, maintain an accurate record of student accomplishments, and ensure that all awards are celebrated at our annual Graduate Award Ceremony.
