B.A./B.S. in History, Post-Baccalaureate Teacher Certification (Teacher Certification + M.Ed.)
The Graduate Certification Program (GCP) is designed for students entering their senior year of undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University and are interested in earning a teaching certificate. The opportunity for a paid internship as a classroom teacher while applying all coursework toward a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree are unique features of this program.

B.A./B.S. in History, aggieTEACH Secondary Education (SEED) Minor + Teaching Certification
The aggieTEACH SEED minor provides teacher certification for Texas A&M non-education undergraduates interested in teaching middle or high school History (or Social Studies) for grades 7-12.
To qualify for SEED program consideration, a student must have at least three semesters remaining in their undergraduate coursework.

Step 1: Meet with your major advisor to make sure your degree plan can accommodate the SEED minor.
